Infographic: Establishing Compliance with GDPR's Consent Conditions

Introduced in 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) demands that companies ask for consent upfront. Consent is one of the six lawful bases stipulated by the GDPR. Under GDPR, consent should be valid, informed, and up-to-date. Articles 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 13 of the GDPR explicitly include conditions for consent, and failure to comply can cost you up to €20 million, or 4% of the annual revenue of the prior financial year, whichever is higher.

Download our latest eBook to learn what is consent management, why it is important and how you can establish compliance with the stringent consent requirements mandated by today's data privacy laws.

In a follow-up post, we will discuss best practices for establishing GDPR compliance, and how you can choose an ideal CMP for your mobile applications. Consent Management is the strategy to gain consumers’ consent to use, store, manage, and share their data while allowing them to modify or opt-out of their earlier preferences at any point in time.
